August is usually the hottest month of the year in the northern hemisphere. Sultry days that invite you to laze in a hammock or dip your feet in cool water. Steamy nights with the fans turned on high. Days and nights that can be sensual, passionate and very sexual.

Food always is a part of sensually, and I have some suggestions for foods that you and your lover can eat. If you share only one food with your lover make it chocolate dipped strawberries. If you make them yourself add a pinch of cinnamon to the chocolate. Have them before and after. Wonderful! Wine or champagne is good, but no more than two glasses before. Have a dish of mixed nuts with lots of almonds to nibble. Great foods to have are oysters, tomatoes, eggs, bread, avocado, figs, and bananas. Spices to use are cinnamon, fennel, ginger and mint. Add honey to one of your dishes. Figs are incredible dipped in honey. I'm sure you can make a delightful meal with the some or all of the ingredients that I have listed. It is fun to cook together with your lover after you have shared your sexual passion. If you cook for your lover before or share the cooking afterwards, please have fun and be playful.
